Query with Buttons and Viewership

Is there an easy way of making Buttons visible to certain users/profiles? 

I have had a look but can't see an obvious way of doing this

Hi Kim,

I'm afraid but there is no OOTB way to limit the button visibility based on profile.
What you can do is that create two page layouts, add button on one and not on the other (rest all things of the layout will be same). Now assign one page layout to the profile you want to display the page and not to the other.
