KushanJayathilake OpenCTI, does it require an adapter
Hi Guys,
I was going through the Open CTI developer guide and saw it requires a "reqAdapterUrl" in the call center definition file. This parmeter should give the URL where the adapter or softphone is hosted. I read in the begining of the guide that it doesn't require a Adapter to be installed.
So what it really requires here? Can OpenCTI exist without the Adapter program?

CTI Tool kit and Open CTI is two different things, CTI Tool kit requires an adapter to be installed in every users machines, whereas Open CTI does not require such thing. That was the initial description they have given. But in the latter part they are asking that particular parameter in the call center definition file. So I'm not sure whether Open CTI also depends on the adapter.
