integration of social media on salesforce

Hi guys.. I want to integrate facebook on salesforce.i want to know the process regarding this.
I want to fetch some data regaring the user..
pls tell me what things are required as i am using REST api.

It seems that SF is not longer supporting the Social Media app?  Is that true?  I like using the app but lately when I try to click on the facebook icon in a contact file it keeps asking me to sign in to Facebook when I already AM signed in to Facebook.  It appears I might need to re-authorize the app?  Is that possible?

There is a known issue (Bug) in Production instances of the Facebook link.

I want to integrate Facebook and Twitter with Salesforce. What I need to do is whenever User posts something on Salesforce, case gets created in Salesforce.
