Salesforce metadata explorer

Hello all,
I am trying to connect to a custom object I created in datastage using the Salesforce pack.  I entered in my credentials and URL however when I go to select my custom object it is not in the Salesforce metadata explorer.  What makes an object appear in the explorer?  I have the object set to deployed and allow bulk API access.
Thanks!
Brad

What tool are you using to browse the available metadata?

Generally speaking the users profile would need at lease read access to the custom object in question.

Hi Brad,
Check out ERBuilder for Salesforce (https://soft-builder.com/erbuilder-for-salesforce/) (https://soft-builder.com/erbuilder-for-salesforce/)- a data modeling tool for Salesforce that allows you to access, explore and understand your Salesforce metadata, you will be able to explore all objects and relationships including your custom objects.

Read how to use the tool to explore Salesforce metadata. (https://soft-builder.com/how-to-explore-and-exploit-salesforce-metadata/)

Hope it helps you.
