Hi Srikanth,

Sincerely regret the inconvenience for the delayed reply.

Chatter:Chatter can be used as a company intranet or employee directory. Each employee has a profile page with photo and work-related information that explains what the employee’s role is within the company, who the employee reports to, where the employee is located and how to contact the employee. Employees can “follow” both people and documents to collaborate on sales opportunities, service cases, campaigns, projects, and tasks.

You can Use Chatter features like feeds, profiles, groups, and more to share information, collaborate, and keep up with the latest updates in your company.

To find the chatter in your org please see the below screen shots.

Click on the chatter tab then you will find the below:

From here you can use the chatter to keep in touch with all of your employees in the org.

For more information on chatter please refer to the below links which helps you accelerate further on chatter:

Please mark this post as solved if it helps.

Hello Srikanth,

Salesforce Chatter (https://sfdcgo.com/use-salesforce-chatter-in-your-company/) is a collaboration and communication feature in Salesforce that allows users to collaborate, communicate and share information with others within their organization. It is similar to social media platforms, with features such as status updates, comments, groups, and notifications, but it is designed for internal use within a company or organization.
With Chatter, you can:
  • Follow other users, groups, or records to stay up-to-date on the latest activities and updates.
  • Post updates, share files, and collaborate with other users in real-time.
  • Create and join groups to collaborate on specific projects, topics, or interests.
  • Use @mentions to notify and involve specific users in your conversations.
  • Share records such as accounts, opportunities, and cases to collaborate with team members.
  • Get notifications when someone mentions you, replies to your posts, or shares files with you.
If you are unable to find the chat box in your Salesforce org, it may be because the feature is not enabled for your organization, or it may be that your user profile does not have permission to use the feature.
Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue :
  • Check if the Chatter feature is enabled : Go to Setup, and then search for "Chatter Settings" in the Quick Find box. Check if the "Enable Chatter" checkbox is selected. If not, select it and save the changes.
  • Check your user profile permissions : Go to Setup, and then search for "Profiles" in the Quick Find box. Select your user profile and then click on the "Edit" button. Check if the "Chatter Internal User" and "Chatter Messenger User" permissions are enabled. If not, enable them and save the changes.
  • Check if the Chat feature is enabled : Go to Setup, and then search for "Omni-Channel" in the Quick Find box. Check if the "Enable Omni-Channel" checkbox is selected. If not, select it and save the changes.
If you are still unable to find the chat box after trying these steps, you may need to contact your Salesforce administrator or technical support team.
