Error! in formula field

Hi Guys

How to handle this type of syntax error.when i am going to create currency formula field its showing the following error.
Error: Error in referenced formula Quote__r.H_Total_Job_Value_new__c.Total_Customization_Charge_N__c.Record_type_name__c, Field $RecordType.Name does not exist. Check spelling.

Whats the expected output in this formula field.

whatever you have used in the formula... are they all lookup/masterdetail fields.

H_Total_Job_Value_new__c - what type of field it is ?
Total_Customization_Charge_N__c - what type of field it is ?
Record_type_name__c- what type of field it is ?
