I have a custom Object called "Novanet" with lookup fields "Contact" and "Account ". Can you help me with a trigger which will Update the Account from the Contact attached.
1) While creating a new contact, you can select the Account Name lookup from the creation page and it will be added automatically to Contacts related list in Accounts detail page layout.
2) Are your trying to create a contact using your custom object "Novanet"?
If you create contact manually using point-1 (above), Novanet custom object lookup for contacts and accounts will show the new entry automatically.
If your questions fall in one of the above scenarios, you don't need to create any triggers. Please clarify. Thanks.
