Change community url

How To change the URL for my community?

I want to use the url specific for my visualforce pages, not for my communty

Hi Admin Atile,

I guess it won't be possible to change URL once got set as it's becomes domain once got created but still you can try contacting support if they can do something for it. Support has the ability to change the force.com domain name with the proper validation. You can log a case. It might take several hours to reflect once got changed by support.

I have al ready create a suport case with salesforce. They tell me thats possible with salesforce developer, and advised me to ask in this community..

Goto the settings and try , I think we cannot change the url once it is published, So deactivate the community and then try and then reactivate

Then you can also try from API in case that helps as far as I know Its not possible as it becomes the domain name

Go to Community -> Administration -> Settings -> Deactivate the Community.
Click on pencil icon next to the Community Name. Edit the url
Reactivate the Community.
