For a generic approach, I would recommend you simply follow the Admin Trails at https://developer.salesforce.com/trailhead/trails

For the best use of time, I would be to look at the certification study guide for the test you are about to take and determine which areas you need the most improvement on. There is no point in doing Trailhead modules if you already understand the material! (That is, if passing the test is your goal; not just points and badges.)

For now my goal is passing the administration certification test only.Can you suggest me link for updated certification study guide or syllabus ? 
I am planning to take exam by month of July so which release(winter'16 or spring'16 or summer'16) would you suggest me to prepare?
