Lookup Fields

Hello All
I have quick question. when i make the lookup field in the child object as readonly then the lookup filed is not populated automatically, can someone suggest how to make the lookup field (Should be read only) and should populate the value from parent

You should write workflow/process builder rule or trigger to implement this logic.

Please let me know if any more information required.

Hello Pavan Thanks for your quick response. Is there any other way to make it happen without (workflow/Process Builder/Trigger). Is that the standard functionality ? Regards Rajesh
