Send email button not showing on Opportunity.

I can't see the "Send Mail" button on top of my Opportunity tab in my developer org.
I checked and the button is correctly placed in the page layout.
Any idea? Am I missing some mandatory information in my records?

Check if you see this in the section 
'Activity History' in the bottom of the opportunity.

Hi Marcillo,
yes I can see the button in the 'Activity History' section, but looking at the page layout I think I'm supposed to see it also on the top of the page.
Am I right?

If you want on the top of the page you going to create a custom button and you'll have to do something like this

Thank you for the answer, but I've already created a custom button to send the email. I was just wondering to know why I was unable to see the standard one.
