Got this error & just following directions...

Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong: 
There was an unexpected error while verifying this challenge. Usually this is due to some pre-existing configuration or code in the challenge Org. We recommend using a new Developer Edition (DE) to check this challenge. If you're using a new DE and seeing this error, please post to the developer forums and reference error id: HQVTALII

It is a brand new org.

I remeber getting similar errors on the Reports and Dashboards Superbadge a while back before they updated it. Which Superbadge are you doing and what challenge are you working on? If it's the Reports and Dashboards Superbadge, try refreshing the Reports and Dashboards.

Hi!
I ran into the same error, while i resolved it by just deleting the records created not mentioned in trailhead for that particular object and creating the new records as mentioned in trail head.

initially i created a record on my own and then as metioned in trailhead it shows me the same error, so give a hit hope it will solve.

This is in regards to the Lightning Experience Rollout Specialist Superbadge - Step 7. I've exhausted just about every suggested fix, but still no luck. PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks
