What is the unit of "Run Time" in apex test execution history?

In Apex Test Result page, each test execution method history has a value of "Run Time", e.g. 283. Is it meaning it took 283 seconds to run this test method, or it is just  a reference without specific unit?

Generally time is specified in milliseconds in Salesforce.
Like you can see in below image Total time in ms

Hi Manish i want this type of format based individual class name and method run time can you please tell how you will get this ?
my scenario is i have nested classess like 1 parent class with on this parent class inside i am calling 3 child classes and method , on this i want know individual class runtime
