Hello, I am the Salesforce admin for my company. My users want their manually-entered values (go/get calculation or manual entry) to persist when they change the stage of an opportunity (like from Quote/Proposal to Budgetary) . Currently, when they change the stage of an opportunity, the system imposes the default probability value for the stage and overwrites their manual values. I spoke with a support rep and after some attempts, he told me the default stage value is foundational to Salesforce and it will always overwrite manually-entered values upon stage change. Is their any way to ensure that manually entered values will always take precedence? In such a system, the system would only enter a default value if the use never entered a manual value. Thank you.

Hello,

Earlier today, I updated a lot of cases using the Apex Dataloader (Ver. 26.0).  Most of my 6k+ cases closed, but 600 of them failed and were given this error:

AssociateCaseToUser: System.LimitException: Too many SOQL queries: 101

Since I didn't write this code, I'm flummoxed as to what this means.  Any idea on what I can do with my data to make it process correctly?

Thanks Much.

Also--I realize there are posts similar to this one, but no one seemed to be asking about the error in reference to the Data Loader.  If this is a duplicate post, I apologize.
