The role:
We are currently looking for several Senior Salesforce Developers to join us in our Bella Vista office. Reporting to the Application Development Manager, you will be responsible for the development and support of Kincare's Salesforce implementation.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Involvement in all steps of the development process, including analysis, design, development,
• testing, documentation and implementation
• Troubleshooting of customer integrations, issues with Salesforce APIs, Apex, Visualforce and implementation of other Salesforce Apexchange products
• Take ownership of customer issues through to resolution - including troubleshooting, internal communication and providing guidance on best practices
• Share best practices with team members to enhance the quality and efficiency of customer support; and
• Participate in project work, including but not limited to; designing and implementing new monitoring and/or reporting tools, and creating or improving existing processes/procedures

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:
With a minimum 3 years of Salesforce Development and 5 years CRM platform experience, you will hold Salesforce Platform Developer 1 certification and will have strong Salesforce development skills in Configuration, Workflows and Process Builder. You will in addition have solid experience in Salesforce APIs, Apex and Visualforce development.You will have knowledge of XML and Webservices, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Being customer focused, you are a team player who is self sufficient and is a quick learner.

As a Senior Salesforce.com Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing bespoke analytical and dashboard solutions, and driving Salesforce.com best practices.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 5 to 7 years proven track record in advanced Software Development projects

• Hands on experience building custom Service Cloud applications using Apex, SOQL & SOSL Queries, Visualforce, Canvas, Force.com APIs, and web services
• Strong proficiency in HTML/CSS and Java Script, AJAX, jQuery languages with 3 to 5 years' experience
• Desire to apply your creativity and self-motivation in a fast-paced, exciting environment
• Ability to work in Agile (SCRUM) environment
• Creativity and passion to create great applications that will be used by FTSE/Fortune 100 companies

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working on various customisations, configurations, administration, implementation, integration, including production support experience for multiple projects on Salesforce.com
• Participate in analysis of business requirements, gathering and preparing functional/non-functional requirements by interacting with Business Users and Clients
• Responsible for development in Salesforce.com Apex, VisualForce, Force.com IDE, JQuery, SControls, API, Web Services, sites and data migration, SOQL, and SOSL
• Responsible for data imports into Salesforce – this will include data cleansing/quality functions, and using vlookups to match records from multiple objects to one another
• Responsible for building Reports, Dashboards and Report Types for different users and business roles

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED

• Salesforce Developer and/or Administrator Certifications
• Hands-on experience developing with the Salesforce API including Visualforce and Apex
• Hands-on experience in integrating Salesforce with web-based applications using the Salesforce SOAP/REST API and developer kit
• Experience with RDBMS such us PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle and NoSQL like MongoDB
• Experience with OOP languages such us Python, Java, C, C++
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload
• A proven track record of successful IT project implementation in a software or data-driven environment, minimum 5 years Ability to listen and interpret customer needs
• Ability to have a strong impact and influence key decisions
• Calm but positive and responsive under pressure
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of Agile SCRUM methodology
• Educated to Degree or HND level or equivalent
• Working knowledge of industry development tools such as Jira, GitHub, Confluence, Eclipse IDE.
