Can I call and scontrol from an scontrol ?

I have an scontrol that will be called from Opportunities page. This scontrol will generate a form and in that form I have to create an Account lookup in a pop up window.
 
Can I call another scontrol for the Account Lookup?
 
If there is anyother way to do this, Please let me know.

resetPassword for SelfServiceUser?

I thought this was possible, but I'm getting the following error:

PHP Fatal error:  Uncaught SoapFault exception: [sf:INVALID_ID_FIELD] INVALID_ID_FIELD: specified userId is not valid

Could have sworn I read somewhere on the forum that this would take SSuserId's.

Anything I can try?
