I'm not even sure if you need a customer portal user if you're also a partner portal user but the documentation doesn't seem to be be particularly clear about this so I guess I have two questions:
- Do I need to have a customer portal user if I already have a partner portal user?
- If you need to have both a customer and partner portal user, is there any way to associate both types of user with a single contact?
Is there any way to create a customer or partner portal user without an associated contact record either through setup or via the API?
From what I can see the only way to do it is via the contacts record.
