I want to auto populate fields in a Managed Object (installed package) from a Standard Opportunity object record.
When a data is loaded into Opportunity page and saved. Then we have a custom button called "Manage" which is linked to the Managed Object page. Once this is opend we need some fields to auto populate from Opportunity object.
I tried using Field update under workflow rules but it didnot work. What is the better way? if it is Trigger then please advice me how to write.

If an email is send from SF, a copy of sent emails can be seen under Activity history. But is there any way it can be brought into Outlook sent folder? (I can't find it using Outlook Connector). Just like syncing contacts, task and so into SFDC using Outlook Connector...
I need to prevent duplicate records in related list.
For eg I have a custom object Quote
Quoteline is a related list for Quote object.
In quoteline i need to prevent product which has been already added in quoteline for the particular quote.
Can anyone help on this.
