We have Service Conracts that are Products we sell along with our systems - essentially they are licenses.  When I create a Service Contract, we must give it a name.  We don't have unique names for these - they are just the Standard license for that product, which we will be tracking for Entitlements and Renewals.

 

I also don't udnerstand why we are listing a Generic Line Item in addition to the Asset.  It is associated with the Asset and after it is shipped has little relation to the original Line Item.

 

Can someone help me under how these contracts work?

I am trying to create a "Time" field for users to enter the amount of time they spent on a case.  If I make it a Date/Time field, I get all the calendar stuff.  If I use a number field, then it is decimal.

 

How des one create a field that deals with hours and minutes?
