Eclipse Deployment: OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

When trying to deploy apex code we are receiving the following error.

Unable to test deploy Force.com components.

Reason:
OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

I have no idea what this means or how to fix it. Ideas?
