I'm a little confused about the AppExchange and how it will work and how much it will cost. I am considering building a managed package for the AppExchange. My customers will not likely be Force.com clients yet. So some things I want to know are:

Do my customers get their own force.com account, pay for however many users (4 or 5 users likely) and then buy my app?

If my app has 40 tables does that determine what level of membership my customers need to sign up for on force.com?

Does it sound reasonable to even build on the force.com platform if my customers will have so few users?

Thank you.

I've just begin with the Force.com platform. Any other reporting tool I've used (SSRS, Access, Crystal, etc) has the ability to group within groups. In the example below, I would want to group by client and show some client data, then show parts they have purchased. Ideally I would show service calls as a level and parts inside that level, but if I can figure out how to do this simpler scenario, I should be good to build heirarchies.

Looking at my mock up, is this possible in the report builder?
