Hi all, need some help...

I have a Salesforce Site that has a VF page that people can attach files to.  The page seems to be working well, but if there is any issue, the user gets the generic "Unauthorized" page with no error messages at all.  I am looking for a way to get an error log emailed to me so that I can troubleshoot the issue.  I have attached the Apex class that allows the user to attach the attachments to the VF page.  Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Hi All,

I have a VF page that will be used to enter incident reports into Salesforce.  There are two recordtypes for incident reports.  I am trying to figure out how to assign the recordtype based on the value of a picklist field (if Incident_Type__c = "Moisture", recordtype = "a", "b"), but I'm not sure exactly how to spell this out on the visualforce page.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am working on a project to create a VF page where the user can add multiple attachments when creating a record.  Someone suggested the controller listed below, and while it will save the attachments, it isn't saving any of the information entered in the VF page for the Incident Report.  If anyone can take a look at this and tell me why the Incident Report isn't being saved, I would truly appreciate it.

I am working on a project to create a VF page where the user can add multiple attachments when creating a record.  I found some code online that allows me to do this, but it will return the following error "System.DmlException: Insert failed. First exception on row 1; first error: REQUIRED_FIELD_MISSING, Required fields are missing: [File Name, Body]: [File Name, Body]" if a file isn't chosen for all 3 attachment selections.  Users may only need to attach 1 or 2 files to a record.  I need to find a way to determine if any of the selections are null and if they are to tell the system not to expect to see anything there.  My class and VF page are listed below:

I am in need of some serious help here.  I am trying to add the ability to add attachments to a visualforce page before the VF page is saved.  I found the code online but I am getting the following error:  Unknown Property 'Incident_Reports__cStandardController.IncidentReport'.  I have triple checked that the extension is correct, so I'm not sure why this error keeps coming up.

I am working on a project to create a VF page where the user can add multiple attachments when creating a record.  Someone suggested the controller listed below, and while it will save the attachments, it isn't saving any of the information entered in the VF page for the Incident Report.  If anyone can take a look at this and tell me why the Incident Report isn't being saved, I would truly appreciate it.

Hi all, need some help...

I have a Salesforce Site that has a VF page that people can attach files to.  The page seems to be working well, but if there is any issue, the user gets the generic "Unauthorized" page with no error messages at all.  I am looking for a way to get an error log emailed to me so that I can troubleshoot the issue.  I have attached the Apex class that allows the user to attach the attachments to the VF page.  Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

I am working on a project to create a VF page where the user can add multiple attachments when creating a record.  Someone suggested the controller listed below, and while it will save the attachments, it isn't saving any of the information entered in the VF page for the Incident Report.  If anyone can take a look at this and tell me why the Incident Report isn't being saved, I would truly appreciate it.

I am working on a project to create a VF page where the user can add multiple attachments when creating a record.  I found some code online that allows me to do this, but it will return the following error "System.DmlException: Insert failed. First exception on row 1; first error: REQUIRED_FIELD_MISSING, Required fields are missing: [File Name, Body]: [File Name, Body]" if a file isn't chosen for all 3 attachment selections.  Users may only need to attach 1 or 2 files to a record.  I need to find a way to determine if any of the selections are null and if they are to tell the system not to expect to see anything there.  My class and VF page are listed below:

I am in need of some serious help here.  I am trying to add the ability to add attachments to a visualforce page before the VF page is saved.  I found the code online but I am getting the following error:  Unknown Property 'Incident_Reports__cStandardController.IncidentReport'.  I have triple checked that the extension is correct, so I'm not sure why this error keeps coming up.
