Where are files stored in the database when uploaded via the UI?  I am not referring to Attachments.  We've uploaded several files and do not see them in the ContentDocument table as was documented.

We are using a 3rd party tool (DBAmp) to migrate attachments to Emails into Salesforce. As we understand it, Attachments are being phased out and we should upload these records to Files.  What is the relationship between Files and Tasks (Emails)?  How can we properly map the records we migrate to their parent email?  The ERD online is fairly vague.
