We use List<sObject> to generally represent a list of all Objects.

Can we use List<sObject> for Database.upsertResult and Database.saveResult or do we have any other general representation?

Hi All,

I have two batch classes and both classes call a future method in case of any exception occurs and other than that, both the batch classes don't call any future class.
But when I run a batch class I get this exception System.LimitException: Too many future calls: 1 but the other batch runs successfully without throwing any exception.
Log of batch class which causes an exception is :[ Number of future calls: 0 out of 0 ]

Log of batch class that executes successfully : [ Number of future calls: 0 out of 50 ] 

Both batches calls same future method but one batch shows "Number of future calls: 0 out of 0" and causes exception but another batch runs successfully with "Number of future calls: 0 out of 50"..
 
Could anyone help me figure what the issue, actually is ...

Hi All,

I have a custom object A with custom fields a__c,b__c and d__c. I'm storing a List<A> and sending this list to a batch that is getting called in the finish method of the current batch.

Now, my requirement is to send this list<A> with fields that are required in the next batch processing [ in this case I need only a__c,b__c, and not d__c ].

Could anyone pls suggest  me the best way to achieve this?

One way I am thinking is to use SOQL Query but this is adding another query to my transaction.

Helper function:

My doubt is in A (Controller function),we are passing event but in helper function we don't have event parameter in function declaration.
In D (Controller function),searchString is passed to helper as third argument and it is getting assigned correctly to  searchString without getting assigned to parameters.How???

In C (Controller function), event is passed but we don't have event in helper function.

And the code is working fine without any errors?!

How is this even possible?
I guess I'm lacking some concept.Could you help me understand this?!

The scenario is:

I need to send CEO Closed WON Report in Email every Week.

I created the report and when I subscribed it and tried sending report mail to me[myself and not other user], I'm getting this error.
I'm using Developer Edition.

I'm not able to figure out how to resolve this..
