With the present salesforce addin for Office, it allows you to save a spreadsheet directly to your "documents" folder on salesforce. I was wondering if there was a way to alter it such that it allows you to save directly to a specific opportunity in salesforce. We are attempting to save our excel quotes directly to the opportunity as an attachment.
Is there a way to replace an attachment with an updated version ? Our company will be using sforce to share documents which are updated frequently. How would I be able to use Sforce to accomplish this task.
Most samples have C++ documentation. Is there a sample code showing how to retrieve an attached document from a given parent Id. Specifically how to download and convert the body from base64.
I am quite puzzled by this error. To give you a background, we're in the process of migrating from Saleslogix to salesforce. We have an internal quoting software written in VB6. The software has been migrated to vb.net and runs without issues.
Here is where it gets wierd. I am able to create a form from scratch and perform a test login into salesforce.com. here is the code below.

Now the above is a stand alone and it works fine. Now when i create a new form in our quoting application, with the exact same code, it gets stuck when attempting to authenticate login. Here is an output of the error

Now the above is a stand alone and it works fine. Now when i create a new form in our quoting application, with the exact same code, it gets stuck when attempting to authenticate login. Here is an output of the error
