I get some contridictory information on whether I can use Connector with the SF.com Professional version. Our sales rep suggested using it since the we do not have the Enterprise version and do not have API access.
In the installation guide it says:
"To access the AppExchange API you must be an Enterprise Edition customer of Salesforce.com, or a developer accessing a developer instance of Salesforce.com
The Sforce Connector relies on the Outlook Edition from Salesforce.com to communicate with the AppExchange API via SOAP, therefore you must begin by installing this on your system."
I am trying to get Connector installed and configured but I get the error "Compile error in hidden module: DistMon". Once, I saw the floating toolbar, but have not been able to see it since. I just get this error.
