Hello. I hit a snag trying to create a report which I get from a nother sytem I am replacing. Here is what I am trying to do:

 

Create a weighted Pipeline report to show the estimated revenue of an opportunity over the calendar months based on the two custom fields opportunity estimated start and estimated end date.

 

Sample Output:

Start date | End Date| Oppty Name | Amount | % Prob | Jan| Feb | Mar |
1/1/08      | 3/31/08    | XYZ                |100        |    10%  |  10 | 10  | 10    |

 

Has anyone found a solution to this? All I have been able to do is get estimated value on as ingle amount in a single month, not a spread of revenue over a time period. Please advise if I need to write any custom object or code to get this. If so what would that look like?
