SalesPath is looking for a part-time Salesforce Developer to deliver outstanding code that increases the business value of Salesforce to our customers. SalesPath’s Salesforce Developer position is ideal for a talented developer or engineer looking to expand their Salesforce Development skills and experiences. This is a part-time position averaging about 20 hours per week No contractors please.
Your responsibilities include:
You will be responsible for developing in the Salesforce development environment through all phases of the development lifecycle from initial technical design, development, testing, to production deployments
Capable of developing Apex, Visualforce, Web Services, and API integrations
Contributing ideas, provide feedback and collaborate on projects
Ability to quickly learn new features, technologies, and communicate effectively with consultants and various business owners
You will also be expected to provide detailed best practices and documentation for your applications
Skills and/or Experience:
Clear understanding and experience with the Salesforce CRM, the Salesforce platform, Apex, Visualforce, and the Salesforce API
Solid foundation programming in Java and JavaScript (experience with Pearl and other Web development languages are a plus)
2+ years of experience programming in Apex Code (including Triggers. Apex Email, and the Eclipse Salesforce IDE) and Visualforce Pages plus developing Test Scripts
Excellent oral and written communication is a must
Desired Skills:
2+ years of experience programming with HTML
Knowledge of SOQL data management and experience with SQL/SOQL technologies
Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Ability to take ownership of projects and multi-task in a fast paced environment

You will be providing direction and expertise on designing custom changes, defining workflow automation, analyzing business processes and optimizing the use of the salesforce.com application. The best person for this position would be highly motivated, self-directed and be able to produce deliverables.
Responsibilities:
* Analyzing Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Customer Support business processes used by salesforce.com customers and recommending ways to improve these processes using salesforce.com * Defining salesforce.com requirements and configuring the salesforce.com application to meet these requirements * Defining data import maps and importing new data into salesforce.com databases * Defining salesforce.com security rules and user access privileges * Designing advanced customizations to salesforce.com including custom coding and schema changes using the AppForce SDK that can be used by team developers * Integrate salesforce.com and external financial/ERP/billing/manufacturing systems using an Enterprise Integration Application * Design and develop reports using data from salesforce.com databases * Define and recommend best practices * Work with team members, such as developers, to complete consulting projects on time, and deliver outstanding consulting services to salesforce.com clients * Make presentations and provide user and administrative salesforce.com training to various groups within client organizations when needed
Skills and Experience
* Salesforce.com configuration and administration experience * SFA/CRM functional application experience helpful * Project Management experience desired * Administrator Certified a plus
