how do i get Stage History for an Opportunity.

What is the best way to read a large number of rows? RIght now i am using the REST API query. e.g. q='Select Id from Account'

Then i am iterating through the ids and getting each row separately.

When is the REST API going to be released? I understand right now its a pilot release on the developer edition. I am working on an app for the Enterprise edition and i want to use REST.

I exported all my data using the "Export Data" option under "Data Management" . I am trying to import this data into another account i created. So far i can't find an option for it.
