WE have a mysql database that we use daily. How do you recommend merging mysql and salesforce so we can use all the marketing and sales sforce gives us but the primary data comes from a separate gis/mysql database we run. Ideally we would like to use sforce as a front end for mysql but keep both databases current. For instance importing the data is not a practical solution. Do you have any applications that would work for us.

What is the best way to give customers their own personal login screen while providing custom information from a sql db that we manage. For instance, in commercial real estate, customers looking for 2 to 5 acres will be able to see property details that meet their criteria. Someone looking for 5 to 10 acres will see different information. New data will be fed to the customer weekly as we update our database.
