Hi,

One of our customer has created Report in salesforce for daily purpose. We are facing one issue over there. 
I want to understand if I am missing anything or this is a bug in salesforce reporting tool.

Reporting tool Issue:

Report behaves in correct way when I first choose checkbox and use drill down option. but after that, when I unselected previously selected checkbox and select some other rows to drill down further, Report does not unselect earlier record but shows drill down results inlcuding record selected at first.

For Ex: 

Lest assume there is report with 10 records and Branch is column ( field on record ) on report.

Step 1: I select row number 1 & use drill down option to refresh report. It gives me correct result & drills down report to selected record.
Step2 : Now, say I want to unselect row 1 and want to select row 4 & 5. After doing this if I run report then report does not unselect row 1 but shows me report result with row 1, row 4 & row 5 (ANDs all three together).

Is this a bug in salesforce tool ? How can I fix or raise a case for this ?

I want to know if Salesforce automatically puts lock on any particular Record, while some user is editing that record?

 

For example. 

 

If User 1 is editing Contact 1`s first name ( custom field) field &

User 2 try to edit its Contact number. 

 

Does this record (Contact 1) gets locked when User 1 is editing it , provided User 1 opens that record for editing first.? And User 2 can not edit it from anywhere ( apex code , standard layout, batch apex etc) till User 1 finishes its job ?

Hey all,

 

this is Utkarsh here. I have almost 500 records in one of my custom objects. When i click on custom tab for that object, I get list with standard SF UI. at bottom I can see link named ' Show 25 Items' ...when I click on that link it does nt show 25 items but sometimes show 15 or sometimes 20 & link changes to 'Show 10 Items'. Is this SF system issue ? how to fix this to show exact 25 or 10 records

This is Utkarsh. I am trying to move Visual force pages for my app from sandbox to Production instance. Managed package is installed in prodcution instance. I am facing some unusual erros after I transfer pages to production.

 

1. when I try to access one of pages transferred using apex/<page name>, it is giving me an error URL does not exist though I can see particular page & its controller code into system.

 

2. Some components on one of pages is not visible even though I can see its code into visual force page in development mode.

 

Please suggest me some solution over this.
