Hello,

 

I've been asked to all renewal opportunities from our Forecast. I am not sure what the best way to approach this is and need some advice!  We currently differentiate the opportunities with a "Type" picklist with 4 different values including "Renewal".

 

The renewal opportunities move through the sales stages and Forecast categories the same as the new business opportunities.  Therefore, they are showing up in the Forecast. Is there a way that I can exclude the "renewal" opportunities from the Forecast?  

 

I would greatly appreciate any advice and suggestions regarding this!

Hi, I have 2 fields in accounts - the first is "Lead Status" and the second is "Date Qualified". For tracking purposes. I would like today's date to be automatically populated in the "Date Qualified" field based on when "Qualified" is chosen in the "Lead Status" field.

 

I'd also like to make the "Date Qualified" field not able to be edited unless you are an admin.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Our VP of Sales has asked that I exclude all renewal opportunities from our Forecast. I am not sure what the best way to approach this is and need some advice!  We currently differentiate the renewal opportunities by a "renewal" checkbox field I created in the opportunity.  The renewal opportunities move through the sales stages and Forecast categories the same as the new business opportunities.  Therefore, they are shwing up in the Forecast. Is there a way that I can exclude the "renewal" opportunities from the Forecast?  Is there a better way to set up this scenario in Salesforce.com.

 

I would greatly appreciate any advice and suggestions regarding this!
