I am checking our system and did not find storage  information for it. Does that mean it is not using storage space for our org?
How long OpportunityHistory will be keep? 18 months too?

I am going to schedule a job in our production env.
What it does is to assign opportunity owner to current owner's manager if the Opportunity has no activities for the past 5 days.

Since it is production env, our product manager will change my profile to a admin to run the job. After I set the shedule job, my profile will become devopler which does not have much access and basically not able to change Opportunity Owner.

My question is, when scheduled job runs everyday, does it still based on my current profile? Or it does not matter what my profile is.

Hi, I want to create a visual force page, that will be same as related Opportunities page under account.
The reason I do it is because I want to redirect the "Edit" page to a customized visual force page ( but we do not want to override "Edit" because that will disable inline editing), and the page will have a button that is usually disabled unless the Account has "Closed Won" Opportunities .

My problem now, is , how I can implement the "Show 5 more » | Go to list (36) »" like related list?

I have an object called vehicle, it has a field vehicle number.
When I search "a7f8faed120a54ca", two result appear:
One is with a7f8faed120a54ca vehicle number;
another one is a7f8faed120b54ca vehicle number.

Could anyone tell me why the second one also shows one the search result?

I have created a custom button set will set the opportunity to closed won.
In the mean time, I have a validation rule which will not allow the opportunity to "closed/won" if the amount is less then $1,000.

Now I have one opportunity has $100, and I click the button to make it "Closed/won". The result is that the oppornutiny stays as "New" but I did not see the error for this validation rule.

How can I still see the error message for the validation rule?

Hi All,

I'm trying to Upsert the data to Account object using an external tool, Everything works fine but Salesforce is throwing error for few records when upserting

I was doing the upsertion process using the external id field. Except external id field no other field is having a unique constraint.

I'm getting the following error -

": SF_ERROR: DUPLICATE_VALUE
OBJ: Account - duplicate value found: unknown duplicates value on record with id: 001*********** ".

Please help me to solve the issue.
