Any idea on how to render a vf component using a commandbutton? I would like to display a pop-up window when the button is clicked. I created a vf component for the pop-up window but have no idea on how to associate it with a command button/link

Any idea on how to make a column sortable when using apex:repeat? Similar to the standard behavior in Salesforce where the data is sorted in ascending and descending order when the user clicks on the column header.

I am using the <chatter:newsfeed/> tag in my vf page in my sandbox. The newsfeed is displayed as normal but the edit buttons expand by default. See screenshot below:


Any idea on how to collapse the dropdown buttons?

Any idea on how to assign a homepage layout in eclipse? I tried using layoutassignments but does not recognize the name of the homepage layout.
