 what is the meaning of the error"Field expression not allowed for generic Sobject" plz give me clear explanation.

 public Boolean hasNext
        {
        get
                { 
            return myaccts.getHasNext();
        }
        set;
    }
        public void next()
        {               
         myaccts.next();
        acctlist=myaccts.getrecords();       
    }

Here i'm not able to understanding difference between hasnext and gethasnext()..
Please explain and help me ..
