Hyperlinking a text field to the Local Drive on the Server

Hi,
I need to hyperlink a text field to my local drive on the server, so that it directs to the file.

Unable to switch to Lightning

I'm using a free developer account with Trailhead but there is no option to switch to Lightning as described in the modules. Am I missing something obvious?
