How to implement an online proofing tool in chatter,where user can go add some comments to the file itself & save, no need up downlaoding ,then modifying,

then uploading again, please guide me!!

I have one edit layout and the Detail page layout for one object ,edit layout is a VF page, and the other is a standard salesforce layout.suppose in detail layout two fields on the left  hand column,then click on edit and they are in a different location. manually to go evry time to vf page & changing the field location as per standar layout which very awkward, please suggest me with some solution for this.
