Can you host a weekly *PAID* session or two to teach Apex and Visualforce to certified Salesforce Administrators that are non-coders?  A few of us need a coach.  We will pay you to just teach us.  How easy is that?  We're open to when and where, in person or on a gotomeeting works.

We're open to just having a developer show and teach... but of course, it would be a huge plus if you have direct teaching experience, some courseware, and could step us through some lessons or something.  But we're also open to more of a generic mentorship as well.

If this sounds like you... PLEASE send the following to us at jobs@forcebrain.com

1) Your Contact Details, including Location

2) Your Hourly Rate

3) Your Experience

4) When you would prefer to do this... days, evenings, weekends, weekdays, etc...

My team just received funding for a project to develop a custom front-end solution in salesforce.com.  We need someone with great experience in apex, database, and visuaforce to come in and create a solution for us.  This is probably a 2 month gig working for BeckmanCoulter, one of Orange County's largest companies and a leader in healthcare.  We would prefer someone local, but would consider remote if you've really got the skills!  Please reply to this thread if you're interested and we can start the conversation.

We are trying to get our products into our environment ready for launch on Tuesday of next week but we have hit a barrier that we don't have the skills or knowledge to cope with.

Is anyone available for paid work to help us between now and then?

Background:

We are a service company based int he UK that offers collection services. We use a network of contractors to carry out those services. The services can be in a combination of forms dependant on three things:

  1. Type of container (10 options)
  2. Size of container (10 options)
  3. Type of container cargo (10 options)
We collect from all over the UK and therefore choose a contractor based on the postcode of the Account Shipping Postcode. We may have a choice of between 1-4 contractors to use in that area - each offering a different price.
We believe we should be using Pricebooks according to the Postcode and then Container Type as the Product. The other items then become variables of that product ie:
Size of Container
Type of Container Cargo
Based on the chosen variables the system would return the possible contractors, which would give us the price

What we are looking to do is:

Build a Custom Object to manage our vendor services. This would be:

  • Vendor details (taken from Account)
  • Vendor postcodes covered - multi-select
  • Vendor containers offered in those Postcode areas
  • Vendor sizes offered
  • Type of Container Cargo offered
  • Price for each combination

Modify the Opportunity Product to add in the ability to select product variables as well as Quantity:

  •  Frequency of Collection
  •  Size of Container
  •  Type of Product

We then need a lookup to check which of our Vendors can match the product combination, which will then return a Price and the Vendor

Hope that makes sense. Would love to hear from anyone interested in this work who can begin immediately.

Philip

A small to medium size company with 55 employees in a really cool business sector is looking for a long term consultant to help guide us through the Salesforce and IT maze.  The consultant will work a prenegotiated number of hours per month providing:

1) IT Vision and Strategy (This part is really important).

2) Direction and QC to an inexperienced Salesforce developer employed here.  This will mean you won't have to do all the programming grunt work.

3) Vendor selection and oversight of a server maintenance vendor (we can't do everything in the cloud - at least we don't think so...).

4) Employee training and communication, both of new features to existing employees, and existing features to new employees.

We are looking for someone with a talent for understanding business processes, not just software.  We are looking for someone who can articulate and communicate, not just mumble technical jargon.  We are looking for someone who is willing to teach and share their expertise, not just create black boxes.

We are a growing company that sells information, not products.  We have three offices in the US but our preference is for the consultant to be based in Southern California.  Again, we are not looking for a short term relationship but someone who will guide us over the long term.  If this is of interest to you please reply here with your contact details and we will get in touch.  No recruiters please.

We are in the process of creating a client portal based on SFDC customer portal and our own content and reports.  We needa developer familiar with customizing the look and feel, reporting and "custom" functionality we'd like to deploy in the portal - all while using SFCD user profiles to drive what clients can see and access.  We also need to integrate SFDC data and non-SFDC data together in reports, charts, etc.

If you have experienc with these issues please contact me and provide a summar of relevant experience.

Thanks

Hi

We're looking at adding a cart / payment process on our vf site, it will need to integrate with a couple of custom objects.  Is there anyone out there that could take on this as an assignment - we also have another bunch of customisations to do as well.  This is a pilot project but may lead to on-going work.  Preferably London based.

Thanks

Les

Hi

I need some support on development part in salesforce,if anybody interested can u plz drop your email

Thanks

UNIT4 Agresso, a leading Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) vendor, uses SalesForce.com (Enterprise Edition) as its CRM solution for sales and marketing in North America.  UNIT4 Agresso sells software, professional services and maintenance and support services.  We now need to customize our implementation to include a new area of functionality:  sales commission calculation, tracking and reporting.  In addition, the integration between SalesForce and Outlook is no longer working and we have not been able to resolve this through the SalesForce help desk.

Our implementation of SalesForce incorporates a number of customizations including custom fields on the Opportunities object to record revenue by revenue stream (e.g. license revenue, services revenue, maintenance revenue, etc.). Our commission structure is complex.  On a high level, it varies by team member and revenue stream, with multiple staff receiving commission when an Opportunity is closed-won.

We are issuing this invitation for an expression of interest for SalesForce consulting work to include:

·         From our documented business requirements for commissions, prepare a solution design, and on approval by UNIT4 Agresso, implement the solution in SalesForce, provide end-user documentation, and provide required security setup.

·         Resolve SalesForce-Outlook integration issues (currently not working)

Agresso plans to issue a Request for Proposal by March 26.  The project is scheduled to begin early on the week of March 29 and be fully completed by April 15, 2010. Completing this project on time is essential.

If you are interested in receiving our RFP, please respond by return email by March 24, with the following:

·         Profile of your company

·         Experience with SalesForce consulting work

·         Contact information – person, address, phone and email

 Thank you.
