Does anyone in the community have a simple solution or Apex code that can take an Access file that logs support tickets

via 800 number to manage incoming issue calls and returns (RMAs) and build a relationship of
these service issues to SFDC customer/accounts?? Thanks in advance!!
Does anyone in the community have a recommendation for SAP/SFDC integration simplifying opportunity-to-order process

allowing users to create an order in SAP through a click of a button on the Opportunity object. Thanks in advance!
I want to have a visualforce page open a standard account detail view except write in code that defaults the twistsections as hidden so the sections are collapsed by default.

Thanks so much!
I'm making a simple Visualforce page to be used for a button on an Account detail.  The purpose of this page is to override the limited page layout of the account Record type and open a detailed Account view with all fields, not the limited page layout determined by record type.
This is the script I am using;
<apex:page standardController="Account">
<b> Hello {!$User.FirstName}! </b> <br/> <br/>
 <apex:detail />
</apex:page>
When I use this, the same page layout is displaying as with the Record type of this Account record.  I want a different, detailed or master page layout to be displayed when the Visualforce page is opened.  Is this Possible? Thank YOU for any input!!
Question????
A field on an "Account" object that displays a summary count of Records on a Related list object that match a certain field criteria.
I am trying to figure out how to create a formula field on "ACCOUNT" object that displays a sum/count of Records on a related list object, but only records on the related list object that match a certain field criteria.

Example.
A lookup relationship exists between "Accounts" and "Assets".  We need a formula/sum field on "Accounts" that adds the number of related "Asset" records which have an "Approved" checkbox field value that equals "TRUE" (or checked).  Thanks!!!
Hi,

Does anyone know how to increase daily mass email limit from 10 to 1000 a day in Developers Edtion?  We need this for testing purposes.

Thanks!

I am new to Apex and I am having trouble with changing the record type of a record on a visualforce page.  Here is what is happening.

If I try to use this as an Apex Class,

public class LoadRecordType {

    Account a;

    public LoadRecordType(ApexPages.StandardController controller) {
        a=(Account)controller.getRecord();
    }

    public PageReference setRecordType(){
        a.RecordTypeId=[Select Id,SobjectType,Name From RecordType where Name ='VCHospital' and SobjectType ='Account'  limit 1].id;
        update a;
        return null;
    }
}

And reference this extension on the visualforce page like this.

<apex:page standardController="Account" extensions="LoadRecordType" action="{!setRecordType}">
    <apex:detail subject="{!account}"/>
</apex:page>

I get this error.

Visualforce Error
System.QueryException: List has no rows for assignment to SObject
Error is in expression '{!setRecordType}' in component <apex:page> in page accountdetailbutton: Class.LoadRecordType.setRecordType: line 10, column 1
Class.LoadRecordType.setRecordType: line 10, column 1

Im kind of a visualforce Newb.  Can someone help me figure out why this is happening?

Hi everyone,

I've been stuck on this a few days now and can't seem to find any decent tutorials online that can help either.

I'm looking to create a custom object that I will call 'Reseller' this custom object needs to behave just like a Parent account for example.

The part that I am finding particularly difficult is being able to display related opportunities and accounts on the Reseller page.

In an ideal world, I'd like to be able to look up a reseller and then view the accounts or opportunities that they are related to.

Imagine it to be an Account page, only called Reseller instead.

Any help or suggestions would be HUGELY appreciated, I haven't worked with custom objects at all before.

Thanks in advance,

Ash
