Position Overview:

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) information systems are essential to the success of our business. The core responsibilities of the CRM/ERP Developer are to design and develop cloud-based business information systems, integrate external systems, and analyze data. This person will be part of our agile software development team and attend daily scrums for feature review and prioritization.

 

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Develop custom components for SalesForce.com and Force.com applications.
  • Design and develop a Customer Portal.
  • Analyze and monitor databases to ensure data integrity for client and  business transaction data.
  • Customize and manage SalesForce and NetSuite instances.
  • Create custom extensions, triggers, and workflow rules in SalesForce.
  • Troubleshoot escalated issues from the help desk.
  • Optimize and enhance the data model of a large hardware, software, and services product catalog.
  • Create custom Reports, Dashboards, and Content areas.
  • Monitor and analyze site metrics, system performance, and user activity.

 

Supervisory Duties:

            None

 

Essential Education / Experience:

            Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

 

Essential Skills and Competencies:

  • Solid experience with CRM/ERP systems (SalesForce, NetSuite, Force.com)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Computer Science preferred)
  • Working knowledge of web services APIs and protocols (e.g. SOAP, REST, JSON)
  • Web application development experience (HTML, Javascript, XML)
  • Eclipse IDE, Apex, VisualForce experience desirable
  • Experience with SQL and database administration
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Highly motivated with initiative and self-direction
  • Able to multi-task and work on several projects at a time
