Bridge (www.bridge.edu) is a Denver-based international language and education company.  We are seeking an experienced SF developer to assist in adding new customized features.

Summary of Projects:
Scheduling: We have built the bones and structure of a new scheduling program that works with standard and custom objects to schedule classes, charge student Accounts, pay instructors and show balances of classes taught, used and remaining for financial reporting.  There is still a fair amount of design that needs to be done to make the program user-friendly as well as more functionality that needs to be built.  However, all the tasks that are still unfinished require programming in order to finish.
Book Inventory: We have built the majority of this program but need a little more Apex code in order for it to function to its full capacity.
Teacher Portal: We need to build a teacher portal from our website to SalesForce so that the teachers can update information related to their students and classes.  We have existing customer portals to use as a design base, however the teacher portal will be much more in-depth as they will be editing more information and creating new information from the portal to be entered directly into SalesForce.
Testing: We have the objects and functionality built but need assistance getting customized, PDF reporting options to work.
Future projects: There will be many future projects for us as this is our main operating system and we want ALL functions of the company to be run via SalesForce.

Desired Experience and Skills:
• Experience working with SalesForce
• Knowledgeable in multiple programming languages, including Apex and VisualForce
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Able to think “outside the box”
• Have a keen eye for design/aesthetics as well as programming details
• Experience creating an app for the AppExchange

To Apply:
Please email the SalesForce Administrator, Emily Craig, at ecraig@bridge.edu.  Include hourly rate and available start date. The company is looking to start working with a developer immediately.

Hi,

Our client's have been using different versions of our package from app exchange. But after summer 13 release, their package upgrades have caused our custom setting record in their orgs to be deleted automatically.

Prior to summer 13 release their package upgrades and installations all were working fine. They never faced this problem but after summer 13 our client's a re facing this issue.

What could be the reason for this unexpected behavior?

Thanks.

Hi,

I have a requirement in which I need to call two web services as part of the program flow.

1. The first web service call, on success, inserts a new Account and returns the Id

2. The second web service call needs the above newly created AccountId as input parameter.

I am getting "Uncommitted Work Pending" exception if I use two web service calls directly in my program because first web services in creating a new Account which is a DML Operation.

Please let me know the ways to use the above two web service calls in my program. I tried using @future annotation but it didnt solve my problem. Please let me know any alternative way to use.

Also kindly let me know if JS remoting works for invoking the web service(I will put web service call in a controller method and call it from JS), will it work.

Immediate response is highly appreciated as this requirement is urgent. Thanks in advance.

Thanks,

Jaya.

I am implementing the same Salesforce to Salesforce automate record sharing with Apex Trigger for contact object and its related and master records.
I have did all prerequiste setting for this.

My trigger is firing(after insert, after update) and not giving any error but contact record is not sharing with other org.

Help me regarding it or let me know if i have left any action.
I am mentioning my code here:

Trigger AutoforwardContact on Contact(after Insert,after update){
    PartnerNetworkConnection pp =[select Id, ConnectionStatus, ConnectionName from PartnerNetworkConnection
                                                               where ConnectionStatus = 'Accepted' and connectionName = '360DC'];
    system.debug('ppppp' + pp);
    Id networkId = pp.id;
    System.debug('>>>>>>networkId' + networkId);

        List<PartnerNetworkRecordConnection> connections =  new    List<PartnerNetworkRecordConnection>();
        for (Contact newTest: Trigger.new) {
                PartnerNetworkRecordConnection newConnection = new PartnerNetworkRecordConnection(
                      ConnectionId = networkId,
                      LocalRecordId = newTest.Id,
                      SendClosedTasks = false,
                      SendOpenTasks = false,
                      SendEmails = false,
                      ParentRecordId = newTest.AccountId);
                System.debug('>>>>>>newConnection' + newConnection);
                connections.add(newConnection);

Essentially, I  need someone to develop a trigger that would send an email to the Asset's Contact record using the Asset information (tracking number, order number etc) when ALL assets with the same order number are set to Shipped.

We set up a custom object for Assets so we could have a roll-up summary field that compared the total assets to the shipped assets, but we can't send an email with Asset information.

Also, their are two possible emails to choose from based on the billing country. If the billing country is Canada, then email template for Canada is sent out. If the billing country is USA, then the email template for USA will be sent out.

Any help, recommendations, quotes and/or timelines for implementation would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
