We are seeking a Force.com Developer that will be responsible for rapid application development on the Force.com platform but he/she will also be the team’s go-to Force.com subject matter expert. This consultant must have strategic application Force.com development expertise & participate in assessments, be able to understand and forecast Force.com application development demand and audit Force.com migration work of offshore team.
 
Project Details:
Role: Force.com Developer
Length: 6-12 months (contract to hire)

Required Skills:
  • Resource will be responsible for rapid application development on the Force.com platform. The applications themselves will be true workflow apps that include user production and decision support.
  • Looking for someone with at least 7 years' experience.
  • The internal team has zero knowledge of the functionalities of Force.com so they need someone very senior but also very personable and articulate because this will be the go-to person for all things Force.com related.
  • Must be able to understand and forecast Force.com application development demand.
  • Must be able to audit Force.com migration work of offshore team.

About the Role:
As part of our significant growth plans for this year, we are setting up a Salesforce Managed Services practice. We are seeking a full time Salesforce Developer / Administrator to be an active participant with the set up and success of this highly visible initiative. This consultant will be a Salesforce subject matter expert, working directly with Bayforce’s clients and internal initiatives. This will include requirements gathering and documentation as well as detailed planning in order to deliver innovative, high quality solutions to meet business needs. The Salesforce Developer / Administrator will independently perform development, testing, implementation, documentation, maintenance and support relating to the Salesforce application and other integrated applications.


This person can sit in either of our Chicago or Tampa offices or work remotely!
 

Required Skills:
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience including developing data models, customizing and extending user interfaces, and implementing custom business logic on the Force.com platform
- 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce administration, including user and profile administration, sharing rules and hierarchy, reporting and dashboards, ETL, data management and cleansing, workflows and approval processes, assignment rules, connected app administration, standard object and app customization, page layouts and record types, object and field creation
Must hold at least one active Salesforce Certification
- Experience with the integration of Salesforce with third party applications including both AppExchange Managed Package applications and external applications
- Experience with the following technologies: HTML/XHTML/XML/CSS, jQuery, Javascript, AJAX, SQL, SOAP, REST, JSON, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce, Apex
Experience testing, debugging, and deploying code from sandboxes to production environment and addressing issues related to functionality, integration, etc.
- Experience writing and maintaining documentation for customizations and business processes in Salesforce instances
- Must have experience establishing best practices and serving as a subject matter expert for Salesforce development, administration and customizations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary
Bayforce's client in Chicago is seeking TWO Salesforce Developers.  These consultant will be the primary Salesforce Developers for 3-4 projects.  They will be expected to provide insight to the team as to how the final Salesforce products will look as the internal team has minimal Salesforce knowledge.
