Kindly include these two attributes in the <apex:page> tag -
 showHeader="false" standardStylesheets="false"

Hi Vani,

Then you should go for SLDS(Salesforce Lightning Design System).

Include <apex:slds /> in you VF code and use the SLDS library to include the styles -

Try below code it work with show header  -
<apex:slds />
<button class="slds-button">Button</button>
<button class="slds-button slds-button_neutral">Neutral Button</button>
<button class="slds-button slds-button_brand">Brand Button</button>
<button class="slds-button slds-button_outline-brand">Outline Brand Button</button>
<button class="slds-button slds-button_destructive">Destructive Button</button>
<button class="slds-button slds-button_text-destructive">Text Destructive Button</button>

Let me know if you have any issue related to this.

Hi Vani,

I have also faced this issue and I had written a custom style class for buttons as below -
<apex:page >
 .button_custom {
            color: white !important;
            background: #26b709 !important;
            padding: 8px 25px !important;
        .button_custom:hover {
            background-image: none !important;
            background-color: #ffffff !important;
            color: black !important;
  <button class="button_custom ">Button</button>

You can customize the code as per your requiremenet.
