cases/solutions not seen by portal users

hello - 


1.  users can see their cases in the portal, but not the contents/descriptions - how can i enable them to read the contents so they can view the full status?

You need to change profile setting.







More likely you either need to:


1. Make a new case page layout with the appropriate fields, and assign that page layout with the appropriate fields

2. Adjust the Field Level Security for Case on the portal profile in question, or

3. All of the above.
