Custom Object using APEX

Hi,

 

Is it possible to create a custom object using APEX. This link says it cannot, was any changes deployed in the recent releases? Does any of you have any information on this?

It is not possible till date. But I was wondering why you need this? May be I can suggest a alternate solution.

I was just curious to know if there is a possiblity to create objects using Apex. I thought it must be possible with the flexibility that APEX provides.
