We are trying to implement our Salesforce application.But before that we need to figure out a few things.
1.Which is best possible way to pull data from Salesforce Application to Sql Server 2000 database and vice versa.How do we go about it ? Please let us know if you have more than one options.
2.Should we go for a third party software which acts as a integrating tool for real time load of data bidirectionally.If so, do you have any recommendation.
3.Can we create triggers on salesforce application events which would automatically update
the Sql Server database fields.
Please let us know if anybody has had prior experience of the given situation.
I am using the Pervasive Connector 6.0 to export data to a text file and the dates are being converted from UTC to the local time of my client running the map. I want to stop this behavior and "pass" the original value of the date through without any changes to the date value. What is the best way to do this. I dont want to convert back to UTC from the clients timezone if I can avoid it because I dont want to worry about the timezone of the client.

configure, customize, perform minor training, and migrate customer data
for an enterprise edition installation. We are mostly using the
contact management, leads, opportunities, forecasting, modules of
salesforce.com. We are recieving varying quotes and prices for
consulting packages and straight daily rates and want to check with
others for what they paid for to get an idea of what the proper market
