Could not create connected app in lightening

Hi,

I created a developer lightening account. But I am not able to create any connected app using setup. Actually, any menu item I am clicking on the left side menu bar like User, App etc. getting blank screen.

Unable to switch to Lightning

I'm using a free developer account with Trailhead but there is no option to switch to Lightning as described in the modules. Am I missing something obvious?
