What I did to resolve Annett Fuller’s Desktop from not allowing the installation of Outlook Add-in to work properly was the following:

1. I removed Salesforce.com add-ins using Add/Remove Programs

2. Second, I Deleted all files in the following areas.

C:\windows\temp\*.*

C:\Documents and Settings\%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\salesforce.com (Delete folder)

C:\Documents and Settings\%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp\*.*

C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch\*.*

3. Ran Regedit and searched for Salesforce and removed all references except IE Zone information.

4. Ran a Cleanup on IE Cache (Cookies, History, Passwords, etc) Delete All

5. Rebooted the PC and verified Network shares

6. Ran Outlook 2007 to insure loading properly.

7. Closed Outlook

7. Reinstalled Connect for Microsoft Outlook version 3.2.107 Latest version.

                Connect for Microsoft Outlook

Connect for Office version 1.8.0.2

Then Ran Outlook 2007 and Salesforce.com plug-in asked me to configure options.

Lastly do a Defrag of the system. :smileyvery-happy:

I have installed the new Conncet update and it installs with no issues. However, in Outlook none of the Saleforce menu buttons are available. I check under Options but nothing is there.

On my Start menu the Salesforce Intellisync item is there and functions and recognizes my outlook mail account (user/password).

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
