Hi,

 

we have just recently released Trialforce. Now we have to make a patch for our released managed package.

 

So far we have no customers since the release has just been. Therefore we do not need to push upgrades to customers.

However, we need to update Trialforce. The documentation does not mention how this is done.

Do we need to deprecate the current package in Trialforce and install the patch package?

Hi,

We are using the Force.com Embedded Platform for our new product. Therefore we will not market over AppExchange but our own webpage.

Could you please help us understand the following:

We understood that Salesforce will issue our client the user credentials. Please correct me when this is wrong. We have created a profile for all users who will sign-up for the trialforce. When Salesforce issues the user credentials to our client, the user will not have the profile assigned to it yet.

Are we supposed to take these user credentials to create a user in the Trialforce Master ORG and then assign it to our created profile? What if the user has already tried to sign in, since Salesforce sends the user credentials to our client.

Please enlighten us how this process works.

Hi,

in our Dev ORG we have customized the Contact and Account tab. Once we create the Managed Package we select the Page Layouts for Contact and Account to be included in the package.

However, when we install the managed package in the Test ORG these customized tabs are not available, but the standard Contact and Account tab are.

 

Does anyone know what needs to be done to overlay the standard CRM tabs in the target ORG with the customized CRM tabs from the managed package?
