Hello all, I just installed version 0.58A of the Force.com Explorer (Beta) and i'm getting an error message #2037 when trying to export to CSV or TXT.

Is this a known issue or new bug?

Anyone know if it's possible to deploy profiles/permission sets via Eclipse or an Unmanaged Package that contain object & field permissions for 3rd party managed objects?

I'm trying to deploy a profile from one org that contains object/field permissions for objects that are part of a managed package (not a package that I have access to, but that is from a 3rd party vendor).

The problem that I'm running into is that the profile/permission set XML files in eclipse don't even contain the object/field permissions for these managed objects, they only contain the object/field permissions for standard Salesforce objects & custom unmanaged objects.

I'm able to deploy the profiles/permissions sets to another org but only the premissions for standard & custom unmanaged objects get migrated... none of the permissions for the 3rd party managed objects move.

Hi All,

We need to do some modifications for the financial force app.

For example changing the pages for adding sales invoices.

changing the existing page is not possible as it is a managed package. tried to created a new page with existing visualforce markups. but extensions are not visible.

are there any approaches other than developing page from the scratch ?

Thanks

i've reached the field limit on the opportunity object... does anyone have any suggestions?  my coding skills are limited, and i'm thinking i will have to use a custom object, and visualforce?  not sure that's best, and i'm trying to avoid having to learn visualforce, as i'm not very knowledgeable in html, css or javascript...

anyways, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.......
